We absolutely loved our stay at Honeysuckle House! The garden was stunning, the beds were super comfy, and the atmosphere felt like home. Plus, the free ice cream was a delightful bonus. Rob, the owner, was always friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, near the center of New Zealand, Queens garden, and the Maitai Walkway. We can't wait to come back!
We felt incredibly welcomed during our stay, and we have no complaints whatsoever.

This room had a washing machine, which was super convenient. Being a disabled guest, it made my stay a lot easier. The room had air conditioning, so I didn't have to worry about feeling uncomfortable in the hot weather. I really appreciated the soundproofing in the room. It helped me relax and have a peaceful night's sleep.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the mountain view in the dormitory room. But hey, that's just me.

The location was great, close to everything we needed and with a beautiful hiking trail nearby. The garden was lovely too, perfect to enjoy a sunny day and relax. The breakfast was simple but had all we needed. We also appreciated the fact that we could borrow bikes for free.
The hostel felt quite outdated and cramped. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was in dire need of renovation.

This hotel is simply luxurious! From the exclusive amenities in the rooms to the beautiful garden area, every need was fulfilled. the leisure room was a great spot to relax and watch TV, while the outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying snacks from the snack bar. the location was ideal, with easy beach access and plenty of sun loungers to soak in the sun.
The only minor issue was the limited amount of picnic tables. If the venue was full, there was not much space to enjoy a picnic.

The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a vintage decor that was both charming and functional. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast of milk, toast, jam, tea and coffee, and even treats like ice cream. The cleanliness of this hotel was excellent, with everything being well-maintained and in good working order. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city center and public transportation. Parking was also never an issue, with plenty of spaces available on the street.
Everything was fantastic.

Our recent stay in a charming guesthouse was just what we needed for our city break. We had a bit of trouble finding it at first, but found a helpful door sign indicating we could come in. the room itself was cozy with lovely little details like chocolate bars on the towels and lavender on the pillows. the bed was particularly comfortable, which made for great sleep. We enjoyed the fact that breakfast was served, and appreciated having access to milk, bread, and cookies as well.
There wasn't much we didn't like about this guesthouse. it would have been helpful to have clearer directions or signage on how to find it.

The hostel had a cozy atmosphere. The small size of the hostel allowed for a quiet and intimate setting, making it easy to connect with fellow guests and staff. I loved the arrangement of mostly single beds in the dorm, providing a comfortable and spacious sleeping area. The complimentary breakfast with milk, toast, jam, tea, and coffee was a nice touch, and the well-equipped kitchen. The peaceful garden provided a relaxing oasis, and the location, while quiet, was still within a short walk to the town center. my experience at Honeysuckle House was fantastic!
